Show Rules and Regulations

- Entry fees (if applicable) must accompany entry forms and are not refundable.
- Entry forms must be received by Sunday September 30, 2007.
- Setup for registered entries is at the show location between 12:00 noon and 9:00 PM. Friday. Each entrant is responsible for ensuring his or her entries are set up by the 9:00 PM deadline.
- All entrants must: register with the show chairperson(s), Len Haggblad, by 9:00 PM Friday; report any changes in entries; and pick up exhibitor passes and banquet tickets. No changes will be allowed in classes or show-entry auction items after 9:00 PM Friday.
- Except for show committee members, no one is allowed behind the displays after 9:00 PM Friday. If there is a problem with a tank, please contact a show committee member.
- If the entry is to be auctioned, you must notify Ward Pratt & Len Haggblad, and also make a note in your vendor form. No changes in auction status will be accepted after the entry deadline (9:00 PM Friday).
- Fish showing any type of disease will not be shown. Tanks will be covered from public view if the fish display symptoms of disease or stress. This includes cloudy and unhealthy looking tanks.
- The Calgary Aquarium Society is not responsible for losses, injury, or damage of any kind to entries, equipment, or to persons.
- All entries are under the full control of the show chairperson(s) and may not be fed or tended. Entries may not be removed from the show prior to 5:00 PM Sunday.
- The judges’ and show chairpersons’ decision is final. Interference with the judges will not be tolerated and will result in the entrant’s disqualification.
- The Show Committee reserves the right to:
a) Split or merge classes as necessary.
b) Refuse entry.
c) Specify class entered.
- The show chairperson(s) will decide any situation not covered by the Show Rules.
